Historic
Survey of Queen Anne
now Completed
Identifying Historic
Resources
The field survey of Queen Anne residences
is complete.
Houses
have been categorized, and basic information and pictures
have
been collected for most Queen Anne homes older than 1962.
Up to
250 houses have been chosen as significant.
This involved researching the history
of these houses
that
appear to be most significant, architecturally
and/or historically. Techniques used for research are similar
to those listed here on the Society's
website.
Final
inventory forms for many of the selected houses are now
entered into the city's local Survey/Inventory
Database, and
a search form for easy access has been created.
As part
of the Historic Resources Survey, the Queen Anne Historical Context
Statement has now been completed and is available.
