Archives

The Archives of the Queen Anne Historical Society hold documents, photographs, oral histories and other ephemera related to the history of our neighborhood. Nearly all our files have been digitized and can be shared electronically.

In 2017 following the move of the Society’s offices, the Society donated hard copies of its Archives to the Ames Library at Seattle Pacific University and disposed of all the materials unrelated to Queen Anne or duplicated in regional collections (e.g. the Museum of History and Industry, Special Collections of the University of Washington libraries, and those of local newspapers such as the Seattle Times, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer or the Queen Anne-Magnolia News). Exceptionally, the Society has retained hard copies of files related to neighborhood schools and tours of Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.

Special galleries will be added to this page. For now, if you are looking for something specific, please submit a request.
