Queen Anne?

On daily strolls across Queen Anne that I attribute to Covid 19 isolation and a happily prolonged retirement, I seek architectural anomalies. The Gene and Betty Taylor house designed in 1975 by Bruce Goff at 173 Ward Street, although seriously altered, remains one of them.

Another, also on the south slope, never ceases to intrigue me. I can’t be sure if the turret is original, but it sure doesn’t look like anything else nearby. Indeed, it is hard to believe this is Seattle. If you know who designed this house, when it was built or the history of the turret, we’d love to hear from you. You can drop us a line here.
