The Willcox Walls are one of Queen Anne’s most beloved public landmarks. Its early construction is well documented but the story of its designer, Walter R. B. Willcox, is often shrouded in myth. What inspired him to create this beautiful civic architecture?

Architect and architectural historian Marvin Anderson has researched more than 200 letters held by the family of Walter Willcox. He will share with us the life, career, and architectural philosophy of the man behind the walls.
