Galer Crown (472)

The Galer Crown is one of the most prominent and well-known of Queen Anne's Stairs. With its bottom landing at the intersection of Queen Anne Avenue N and Galer Street W, it is at the south end of Queen Anne's "top of the Hill" commercial district.

The top landing of the Galer Crown is at 1st Avenue N., close to the Hill's highest spot (456' - look for the nearby brass surveyor's marker).

Many of the remaining alumni of nearby Queen Anne High School recall climbing these stairs as part of their daily commute to school.
