Extra points if you like to coordinate projects and are interested in chairing the team. The commitment is approximately 4-6 hours per month.

Are you passionate about Queen Anne and its rich history? We are seeking a new board member to chair our Events Committee. Our engaged, thoughtful board leads creative projects that preserve and celebrate the neighborhood’s past while connecting it to life on the hill today. We meet in person once a month, and each member contributes in a focused role.

As Events Committee Chair, you’ll lead a team of enthusiastic volunteers to produce 4–7 events each year, Including walking tours and public lectures on topics such as pioneering Black architect Benjamin McAdoo. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is organized and dependable, and brings energy and ideas for community programming.

The commitment averages about 10 hours per month (with a spring increase for our Awards Celebration). Interested? We’d love to connect.
